Holocaust and Ghetto Survivors Living in Israel
“At that time, I will deal with all who oppressed you. I will rescue the lame; I will gather the exiles. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they have suffered shame”
(Zephaniah 3:19 NIV).
Over half of Israel’s 170,000 Holocaust survivors live in poverty but feel rich to be in the Land promised to their forefathers. They feel safe in their homeland, but we want to help make their life easier. A personal home visit to take them a blanket, heater, or funds to buy medicine is a way to spend precious time with those who may not have many tomorrows. It is our chance to let them know they are deeply loved.
