Jerusalem Assignment
“I will bring [Gentiles] to my holy mountain and give them joy in my
house of prayer…for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Isaiah 56:6-7
Robbie and Tommie will host Apple of His Eye prayer house in Jerusalem from July 13 to October 2, 2018. After much prayer, and healing from their son’s death in 2014, the Lord has called them once again into full-time ministry to pray for and teach the believing world about their end-time role and responsibility toward Israel. While an awakening has taken place, many Christian people are still confused about God’s promises to Israel and the Jewish people. We, as Christians, are to bless Israel.
“When the LORD will have compassion on Jacob and again choose Israel, and settle them in their own land, then strangers will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob” (Isaiah 14:1).
The Coleman’s began Zion’s Bridge January, 2017 to help bridge the church to Israel through prayer, financial giving, touring, and relationship building. The November 2017 tour was a huge success with 32 passionate people in the Land. All wanted to go again–4 are going for the second time this November. Another main goal of theirs is to bridge need to supply. The larger ministries are thriving and most have no problem raising funds. Robbie and Tommie know of grass-root ministries that struggle financially. When a need arises, Zion’s Bridge has been able to help, thanks to generous and faithful supporters. Recently, a small ministry, Apple of His Eye (AOHE) needed caretakers, so the Colemans reconnected with a longtime friend from the Brownsville Revival days and volunteered.
Apple of His Eye Prayer Ministry
Apple of His Eye was started by Karen and Ron Goodman after being soaked in the presence of the Lord from the Brownsville services. Lila Terhune, Dick Ruben, Dr. Michael Brown, and others ignited a flame for Israel that had been barely flickering for much of the church world. In 1999, Karen had a vision and the Lord spoke to her heart to raise up prayer in Israel. She leased a house in Tiberias. After a few years, the Jerusalem prayer house began.
Apple of His Eye Prayer House, Jerusalem, is a haven for those called to pray for and from Jerusalem. The family-style living quarters provides a comfortable stay while on prayer assignments. The refreshing view of Mount Zion awakens the heart for prophetical fulfillment to pray until “He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 62:7). Prayer times can be flexible according to the group’s schedule, but daily corporate prayer is encouraged. It’s a place to worship to your favorite music or enjoy the instruments in the house (new ones needed). One will immediately embrace the peace of God since the location has been a place of prayer and worship for over a decade. (The location of the house is the area where David’s spies hid from Absalom – 2 Sam. 17:17). Friends have blessed AOHE from many nations.
It is conveniently located on the corner of Ein Rogel and Derek Hevron. A 20 minute walk to the Old City is also a great time for a prayer walk. Or, head to the near-by grocery store to help prepare for the house’s Shabbat meal. Embrace the heart and love of the God of Israel, His chosen people and the nations who love them. If you want to consider staying at one of the houses, email Zion’s Bridge.
We can use donations but more than anything, we need your prayers!
God is using His people in amazing ways and calling them to His holy mountain and making them joyful in His house of prayer (Isaiah 56:6-7).
